Job summary

Plan A Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Java Developer with slot games experience to design and maintain backend systems for real-money iGaming platforms. You will implement game logic, integrate APIs, and ensure performance and reliability of gaming apps.

A strong Java background and 3+ years in slot game development are required. This remote-friendly role offers opportunities to work with a global team, including collaboration with developers, QA, and product managers to deliver new features

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience, including backend.
• 3+ years hands-on experience developing slot games for real-money platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
• Experience implementing slot game mechanics, including RNG integration, paylines, bonus rounds, and payout logic.
• Understanding of RTP and game fairness principles.
• Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with regulated iGaming environments is a plus.
• Excellent English communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend systems for slot games.
• Implement and maintain game logic, including reels, paylines, bonus features, and payout calculations.
• Develop and integrate APIs with gaming platforms and external services.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of gaming applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize existing systems, and maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with game developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver new features and games.
