Job summary

TripleTen is launching a program for experienced engineers transitioning into system architecture roles. The role hosts live sessions, reviews work, runs architecture boards, and sets the technical bar for the supporting instructors.

You'll be the senior technical presence for the cohort, delivering feedback that goes beyond pass/fail, and guiding graduates toward scalable, well-architected solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a senior software/systems architect or equivalent.
• Designed and shipped systems at scale in a real company.
• Deep knowledge of system design, API/service architecture, cloud (AWS), Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Ability to explain design decisions and critique others' architectures live.
• Strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Host weekly live sessions focusing on design and decision layering.
• Lead group office hours and 1:1 sessions for projects and capstone.
• Review projects against rubrics: architecture dossiers and deployments.
• Provide architectural feedback and critique unsound designs.
• Run mock architecture review boards and executive presentations.
• Set technical standards for instructors and act as escalation point.
