Job summary

Uptalent Dot I O is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead underwriting, financial modeling, and investment analysis for acquisition and development projects. You will work with the Founder to source deals, build multi‑scenario models, and support capital‑raising initiatives.

Fully remote with required Pacific/Mountain Time overlap. 5–7+ years in real estate finance, advanced modeling skills, and a track record in value‑add or infill housing are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in real estate finance (development, acquisitions, underwriting, or private equity).
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Proven track record underwriting value-add, adaptive reuse, or infill housing projects.
• Deep understanding of capital stacks, waterfalls, IRR modeling, and debt scenarios.
• Ability to interpret deal docs, leases, zoning reports, and lender term sheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
• Alignment with mission-driven, affordable-housing development.

Responsibilities

• Acquisition Underwriting: Build and maintain multi-scenario financial models; underwrite strategies; run DSCR, IRR, equity multiple analyses.
• Market Research & Comps: Analyze submarket trends, rents/sales, demographics; synthesize into deal memos.
• Due Diligence & Transaction Support: Assist with LOIs, PSAs, closings; review environmental, title, zoning reports.
• Capital Raising Support: Prepare pitch decks and data rooms; respond to investor queries on underwriting assumptions.
