Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Senior-level ownership of complex backend systems with focus on financial apps.
• Practical ledger/reconciliation experience and banking integrations.
• Strong knowledge of immutability, idempotency, race conditions and auditability.
• Experience with AI-enabled delivery and review of generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design and build ledger services, transaction posting workflows, and reconciliation capabilities.
• Implement immutable records and reversible workflows with auditable trails.
• Create idempotent APIs and background jobs to handle retries safely.
• Enforce concurrency controls, proper isolation levels, and database constraints.
• Ensure monetary accuracy through precise decimal handling across code and PostgreSQL.
• Develop reconciliation workflows and integrate with banking/fintech data sources.
• Integrate with banking platforms via APIs/files and handle partial failures with safe replay.
• Operate PostgreSQL-backed services on Azure with monitoring and diagnostics.
• Leverage Claude Code for acceleration while maintaining code quality and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate financial rules and test edge cases.
