Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking a Senior Accountant for Corporate Accounting to work from home. You will handle general ledger, month-end close for corporate and hotel-related transactions, including payroll journal entries, accruals, labor allocations, cash, and intercompany accounting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of corporate accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and excellent Excel skills. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and occasional US holiday scheduling from Manila

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive general or corporate accounting experience with month-end close and GL reconciliations.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GL accounting principles.
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups, PivotTables and financial data analysis.
• Ability to independently manage recurring accounting processes across finance and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for payroll expenses, accruals and inter-entity labor allocations.
• Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies between HR, payroll and accounting records.
• Support payroll-to-general-ledger interface mapping and ADP data processing.
• Record daily cash, credit-card settlements, and intercompany activity as assigned.
• Prepare daily hotel cash activity support, bank deposits and month-end accruals.
• Reconcile cash, credit card and other GL accounts; document reconciling items.
• Assist with corporate AP activities and maintain support for GL transactions.
• Support prepaid expenses, lease and intercompany accounting, employee expenses and related-party billing.
• Respond to audit requests and process-improvement opportunities.
