Job summary

SimCorp Philippines, Inc. is seeking a technically strong FinOps owner to optimize Azure costs and drive cost efficiency across compute, storage and services.

You will sit between engineering and finance, shape price-to-performance decisions, and build automation that keeps cost honest at scale. This role emphasizes automation, reporting with Power BI, and cost governance for AI workloads, with hybrid/APAC-friendly hours and collaboration with DevOps.

Qualifications

• Extensive Azure cost and infrastructure expertise.
• Experience with cloud billing data and the FOCUS specification.
• Ability to translate cost reports into actionable decisions.
• FinOps credentials or Terraform experience preferred.
• Experience with AI/ML workload cost management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own Azure cost governance and optimization across compute and storage.
• Develop automation and reporting with Power BI and FinOps toolkit.
• Collaborate with DevOps to design cost-efficient infrastructure.
• Forecast spending and transition to cost-effective options.
• Lead cost governance as AI workloads scale.
