Job summary

SimCorp Manila is seeking a highly skilled FinOps leader to optimize Azure costs and governance, bridging engineering and finance to deliver cost-efficient, scalable solutions. You will own automation, reporting, and cost models for AI workloads at scale.

You’ll collaborate with DevOps and finance teams, driving cost-aware design, forecasting, and evergreen optimization across cloud resources and AI deployments. A hybrid, APAC/EMEA-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Extensive Azure cost and infrastructure expertise.
• Fluency with cloud billing data and related tooling.
• Experience generating measurable cost savings and challenging senior engineers’ decisions.
• Commercial instinct with ownership and comfort with ambiguity.
• FinOps Certification or Terraform / AI/ML cost management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimization: right-size compute families and SKUs, remove orphaned resources, and shape commitment strategy.
• Automation and insight: build Power BI/FinOps toolkit reporting and anomaly detection.
• Shift-left: lead DevOps cost-efficiency discussions before provisioning infrastructure.
• AI cost governance: manage cost per token, model, and inference at scale.
• Forecasting and evergreen: turn monthly spend into a defensible plan and retire costly services.
