Job summary

BairesDev is hiring an SDET (Junior/Mid) for a fully remote role. You will design and implement automated testing solutions to ensure high software quality throughout the development lifecycle, acting as a tech bridge between development and QA.

Join a global team and build scalable test frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium; write scripts in TS/JS/Java; expand API tests with Postman or REST Assured; and help integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Automation.
• Experience with UI automation using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java for test scripts.
• Hands-on API testing experience with Postman or REST Assured.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and automated QA in dev pipelines.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain reusable test automation frameworks using modern web tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Design and execute UI and API automated test suites to identify defects early in the production cycle.
• Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback to engineers.
• Collaborate with developers during code reviews to improve testability and design patterns.
• Manage test data and environments to ensure reproducible results across platforms.
• Analyze test execution reports to drive continuous improvements in coverage and system performance.
