Job summary

Pavago is seeking a Project Architect to lead the production and coordination of architectural drawings for custom homes and renovations. You will drive schematic design through permit-ready documents, ensuring accuracy and code compliance with California standards.

You will collaborate with design teams, translate client goals into buildable plans, and develop compelling 3D renderings for client reviews while maintaining high-quality documentation and schedules across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Requires demonstrated experience producing complete architectural drawing sets for residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of California building codes and local jurisdiction requirements.
• Hands-on experience with California Title 24 energy compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar residential design tools.
• Experience with interior design documentation including space planning and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Produce complete architectural drawing sets for custom homes and renovations.
• Take projects from schematic design through permit-ready construction documents.
• Ensure plans are accurate, coordinated and ready for permitting/submission.
• Review drawings for coordination issues and resolve conflicts before field work.
• Create 3D models and renderings for client presentations and design reviews.
• Coordinate interior design requirements within construction documents.
