Job summary

Chargeflow is seeking a hands-on Reconciliation & Collections specialist for its Billing & Collections team. You will reconcile customer payments against invoices, track outstanding balances, and ensure items are resolved even after month-end.

You’ll work in an Excel-centric environment, with a vision to automate repetitive steps using Claude as an AI partner. This full-time, remote role reports to the Billing & Collections Manager and supports SMB to Enterprise customers across multiple payment

Qualifications

• 2+ years in reconciliation, collections, billing, or AR.
• Ownership mindset to close items end-to-end.
• Persistence to follow up after month-end.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Critical eye for data across multiple systems.
• Native or near-native English communication.
• Familiarity with chargebacks or disputes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile customer payments against invoices across the customer base.
• Match payments to invoices and close the loop between payment and invoice.
• Investigate unmatched, partial, or unexpected items to root cause.
• Track what customers owe and follow up until fully resolved (past month-end).
• Own accounts end to end with clear, complete working papers.
• Work across Excel and several systems for data verification.
