Job summary

DOXA is seeking a Real Estate Tax Consultant in the Philippines, remotely, to analyze market data, financial statements, and county records. Qualifications

• Experience with property tax assessment, appeals, or market valuation preferred.
• Hands-on real estate or property tax experience prioritized.
• Strong analytical skills and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Research and review local and state guidelines governing property tax assessment and appeals, and analyze county data for accuracy against jurisdictional statutes and property type.
• Compile, analyze, and adjust commercial property market sales and sales listings to prepare estimates of market value and derive capitalization rates.
• Prepare and submit professional, complete appeal forms and evidence packets on time, and present clear evidence and testimony via phone or virtual hearings, including counterargument testimony.
• Estimate future assessments and taxes for client budgeting purposes, accounting for market fluctuations, reappraisals, tax rate increases, and new construction or sales.
• Compare jurisdictional assessment notices and bills against internal data to confirm accuracy, log per internal procedures, and disseminate to clients, while compiling and reviewing semi-annual or monthly budget reports.
