Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a QA Test Manager / Lead QA Engineer to drive end-to-end testing for large software programs from a remote location in Mexico. You will lead cross-functional QA teams, mentor junior staff, and set testing strategies across Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall environments.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in software QA, strong automation experience with Selenium and Java, plus API testing and SQL. Jira and Azure DevOps proficiency is essential. AI tooling knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Total experience: typically 8–10 years in software quality assurance.
• Testing methodologies: 8+ years in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
• Test automation & development: 5+ years with frameworks/tools including Selenium, Java, API testing, and SQL databases.
• Project management tools: strong knowledge of Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Requirements & lifecycle management: proficient with software requirements gathering and lifecycle tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing of large software programs or major projects.
• Mentor and guide junior QA staff on testing concepts.
• Act as a technical advisor for complex testing techniques.
• Plan, facilitate, and conduct quality assurance audits.
• Analyze audit findings and drive actions to improve product quality and testing strategies.
• Identify and implement changes to enhance testing effectiveness long term.
