KMC Solutions in the Philippines is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our QA team in Manila. You will design and implement automated tests for backend services (Python), APIs, AWS integrations, and front-end apps (React, Flutter), ensuring quality across mobile, web, and desktop platforms.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of test automation experience for backend services, APIs, and frontend apps.
• Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, JUnit, TestNG.
• Strong API testing knowledge for RESTful and SOAP services.
• Experience with AWS services and integrating them into test automation processes.
• Experience with mobile (Flutter) and web (React) testing across various devices and browsers.
• Experience with integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated testing strategies for backend services, APIs, AWS, and front-end apps.
• Write, execute, and maintain automated test cases for backend, API, and front-end layers.
• Create and maintain test automation frameworks for CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage.
• Automate testing of third-party integrations and AWS services within CI/CD.
• Test mobile (Flutter), web, desktop apps for cross-platform compatibility.
• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing.
