Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join the Web Solutions team in Makati. The role focuses on building maintainable automated tests for Drupal-based CMS applications and contributing to both functional and non-functional test coverage in an Agile environment.

We operate a hybrid work setup in Manila with a 2-day-per-week office presence, offering a competitive PHP salary range and a broad benefits program.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of proven experience in end-to-end test automation across web platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in writing automated tests using Python with Selenium and/or TypeScript with Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable delivery.
• Practical understanding of non-functional testing domains such as performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web, API, and backend applications, covering functional, performance, reliability, and scalability testing.
• Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Execute performance and load testing, analyze results, and identify opportunities to improve system stability and quality.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams in Agile environments to support test planning, defect management, and continuous quality improvement.
• Leverage experience with Drupal or other CMS platforms to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality across content-rich digital applications
