Job summary

Rockstar is seeking an experienced Provider Credentialing Specialist for a full-time remote role serving U.S.-based practices. You will manage the credentialing lifecycle from initial application to re-credentialing, maintain CAQH profiles, and perform payer follow-up to keep timelines on track.

You may support light billing tasks where needed, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and timely actions to avoid gaps in enrollment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on provider credentialing experience; not entry-level.
• Experience managing full credentialing workflows: submission, follow-up, re-credentialing.
• Strong knowledge of CAQH, NPI enrollment, and payer requirements.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Gather documentation to initiate credentialing for new and existing providers.
• Prepare, submit credentialing applications for commercial and government payers.
• Manage CAQH profiles, attestations, and ensure data accuracy across portals.
• Follow up with payers via phone/email to track status and resolve items.
• Handle provider offboarding and ensure proper payer notifications.
