Job summary

pubGENIUS, a React/Next.js development company, seeks a Proposal & Business Development Specialist to drive client growth. You will identify opportunities on Upwork and other sources, craft tailored proposals, and manage outreach with a data-driven approach.

Collaborate with developers to accurately reflect technical capabilities in client pitches and report pipeline insights. You will work remotely on a part-time, hourly basis with potential move to full-time, targeting international clients

Qualifications

Background in proposal writing, sales, marketing, or business development.
Strong English writing skills (minimum B2 to C1 level).
Experience with client acquisition, outreach, and drafting leads.
Analytical mindset with data collection, analysis, and strategy experience.
Familiarity with Excel and Power BI or similar tools.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear client language.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate relevant project opportunities on platforms such as Upwork and other lead sources.
Carefully review client requirements and craft tailored, high-quality proposals aligned with their needs.
Write, refine, and optimize proposal content to ensure clarity, strong positioning, and brand voice consistency.
Manage outreach and maintain timely, professional communication with potential clients.
Track proposal performance, timing, and response rates, with daily output.
Analyze data from proposal activity to identify patterns and improve conversion strategies.
Collaborate closely with developers to accurately represent technical capabilities in proposals.
Provide regular reports and insights to management on pipeline activity and outcomes.
