Our Clients is seeking experienced Professional Fee Medical Coders to review clinical documentation and accurately assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for physician services and procedures. Expertise in OB-GYN, Urology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Bariatric Surgery, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Nephrology is valued.

Candidates should have 2+ years of Profee coding, strong terminology knowledge, and be willing to work US shifts. Remote work is offered with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Allied course.
• Active medical coding certification: CPC, CCS-P, COC, or CCS.
• At least 2 years of Profee Medical Coding experience.
• Experience in OB-GYN, Urology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Bariatric Surgery, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, or Nephrology.
• Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding.
• Willing to work US shift.

Responsabilités

• Review physician documentation to determine codes for professional services.
• Assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes per guidelines.
• Apply specialty-specific coding knowledge to diagnoses and procedures.
• Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Identify discrepancies and elevate for clarification as needed.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and turnaround time targets.
• Participate in coding audits and quality reviews.
• Use EHR platforms to support accurate coding.
• Protect patient information per HIPAA and policy.
