Job summary

PM Consulting in the Philippines is seeking experienced Outpatient Medical Coders to join our team. Ideal candidates have solid outpatient coding experience including ProFee, E/M, SDS, and OBS coding, with a recognized medical coding certification preferred.

Onsite work may be required; residents of South Metro Manila are preferred. Qualifications include 2+ years of outpatient coding, knowledge of ICD-10-CM/CPT/HCPCS, and a strong eye for detail to ensure accurate, compliant coding and timely

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding.
• Certified medical coder (CPC/CCS/COC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding.
• Assign codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS guidelines.
• Code outpatient ProFee, SDS and OBS cases.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations.
• Identify documentation gaps and coding discrepancies.
• Maintain coding accuracy and productivity while meeting quality targets.
• Collaborate with clinicians and teams to resolve coding concerns.
• Maintain patient information confidentiality.
