Job summary

Remotee is seeking an experienced AU Procurement Officer for a Western Australian mining operation. The role focuses on end-to-end procurement, expediting, contract management, and logistics, supporting strategic objectives and ensuring timely material delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, deliver accurate procurement reporting, and contribute to continued growth as Remotee scales.

Qualifications

• Proven end-to-end procurement experience.
• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or a relevant field.
• Competent user of MS Office and other supply chain software.
• Ability to calculate procurement costs and identify cost-saving methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• High efficiency, stress management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-stakeholder coordination skills.
• Relationship-building and maintenance ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue tender documents, enquiries, and purchase orders for high value/high-risk items.
• Arrange commercial and technical evaluation of bids.
• Expedite materials to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor transport and liaise with logistics providers.
• Identify procurement strategies to minimise costs while maintaining service levels.
• Develop knowledge of supplier base to maximise contribution and align with local market policy.
• Ensure timely purchasing commitments to meet customer requirements.
• Attend material status meetings and report progress on orders.
• Develop material knowledge across product ranges.
• Provide procurement support for projects (Binduli).
• Coordinate with suppliers for spare parts delivery.
• Draft bilingual reports as required.
