Job summary

AVID is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join the Indirect Procurement team as an individual contributor. You will manage addressable spend through strategic procurement, including spend analysis, cost modeling, and negotiations across indirect categories to safeguard AVID’s financial and operational interests.

You will handle end-to-end procurement activities from market analysis and negotiation to contract facilitation and PO approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from an accredited university.
• Five (5) years of professional procurement experience, including at least three (3) years in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
• Strong accountability with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
• Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills with a track record of commercial outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with financial modeling and opportunity cost analysis.
• Proven success in end-to-end competitive bidding across multiple spend categories.
• Data configuration/analysis expertise and advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle for assigned indirect spend categories, developing and executing category strategies.
• Lead competitive sourcing events (RFx), including scoping, bidder management, requirements gathering and evaluation.
• Lead negotiations with vendors for optimal pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Legal, etc. to enable risk reviews and contract execution.
• Identify and report savings and value opportunities from procurement activities.
• Approve POs in NetSuite or equivalent system per negotiated agreements.
• Undertake strategic initiatives to optimize procurement processes.
• Conduct market research to inform strategy and identify trends/solutions.
• Define business requirements and translate them into procurement strategy.
• Own performance metrics on spend managed, savings, and project status.
