Job summary

Staff Virtual is seeking a PPC Specialist (Remote) to own a portfolio of Google Ads accounts from day one. You will structure campaigns, manage budgets, and craft ads that drive clicks and conversions across client verticals like pest control, HVAC, roofing, solar, cleaning, and legal services.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on Google Ads management, independent decision-making, and expertise in keyword match types and GTM.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Google Ads management experience.
• Ability to manage accounts independently with minimal oversight.
• Expert-level knowledge of keyword match types and search term management.
• Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager.
• Solid grasp of Google Ads auction and Ad Rank factors.
• Self-starter mindset with accountability for results.
• Experience with local service businesses or CRM integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Structure campaigns and ad groups; select bidding strategies and targeting.
• Manage budgets and pacing for efficient monthly spend.
• Write compelling ad copy and assets that drive clicks and conversions.
• Mine search term reports and maintain negative keyword lists.
• Adjust match types, bids, and keyword coverage based on performance.
• Improve Quality Score and Ad Rank to lower costs and increase valuable impressions.
• Implement offline conversion tracking and connect CRM/call data to Google Ads.
