Job summary

Emapta is hiring a Payroll Specialist to join our remote team in the Philippines. You will coordinate high-volume payroll processing for US clients, ensure regulatory compliance across US states, and communicate with clients to provide accurate payroll support.

The role offers a permanent WFH arrangement, day shifts, and opportunities to grow with global teams. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in payroll, strong Excel skills, and a client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of high-volume payroll processing experience
• Experience managing payroll for 50+ clients and 1,000+ employees
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Client-focused with payroll advisory and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent time management to meet tight deadlines
• Solid understanding of US federal and state payroll regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and process payroll for an assigned portfolio of clients
• Administer payroll across multiple clients with varying pay schedules and employee volumes
• Verify payroll calculations and records for accuracy and timeliness
• Provide payroll advisory and ensure compliance with US payroll regulations
• Communicate with clients via phone and email for payroll support
• Collaborate with Treasury, Garnishments, and Payroll Assistants teams to resolve issues
• Ensure payroll delivery within established deadlines
