Qualifications

• 2–3 years of healthcare intake/verification experience.
• Familiarity with insurance coverage types (Health, Workers' Comp, Auto).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits by contacting payers and reviewing portals.
• Confirm deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maximums.
• Prepare and communicate estimates of patient financial responsibility clearly and promptly.
• Obtain necessary approvals from insurers before procedures or treatments.
• Identify and resolve coverage issues and errors with payers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of verification activities and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
