Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist - Payment Posting to ensure timely and accurate payment processing for US healthcare client services. This role is work-from-home and follows a Monday to Friday schedule with Philippine time hours, preferably residing in the metro area.

Responsibilities include posting payments, addressing underpayments, coding with CPT/ICD-10, submitting to clearinghouses, and communicating with payers and patients to verify eligibility and follow up on claims.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in US healthcare.
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS codes and ICD-10.
• Familiarity with Revenue Cycle Management systems and PMS tools.
• Experience coordinating with insurance companies.
• Ability to read and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits).
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payments received and create batches for posting.
• Identify underpayments and prepare appeals documents.
• Code claims with CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Submit claims to clearinghouses and review corrections.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and payers on eligibility and follow-ups.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
