Qualifications

• Experience in IT operations, service desk, or systems administration.
• Working knowledge of Windows environments and endpoint management.
• Hands-on experience with patch management tools (SCCM/MECM, WSUS, or Intune).
• Understanding of vulnerability concepts and basic security principles.
• Strong written documentation habits.
• Clear, confident communication to explain technical risk to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and monitor patches across Windows Server, Windows 10/11, and Microsoft 365/Azure environments.
• Triaging vulnerability alerts and deciding what needs urgent attention vs. what can wait.
• Maintain accuracy of compliance reporting and ensure audit readiness.
• Escalate issues early when something looks wrong and communicate findings clearly.
• Collaborate with the wider systems team and share learnings as you go.
