Job summary

The Venture is a 25‑person startup focused on reimagining supply‑chain automation. We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join our remote‑friendly team and help verify requirements, document processes, and support data‑driven decisions.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer success teams, use Excel and analytics tools, and grow with equity on a fast‑moving product. 0–2 years' experience and a proactive mindset are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, MIS, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly, tactfully, and practically.
• Passion and curiosity for system applications.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with Excel and other business‑focused software.
• Proven collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside engineers, product managers, and customer success teams to verify application functionality, usability, and scalability.
• Create and execute software system validation and testing plans to ensure the application meets specifications.
• Identify, document, and report system bugs and performance issues.
• Review product specifications, FAQs, and documentation for accuracy.
• Participate in cross‑functional bug‑bash sessions, test user interfaces, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Learn and understand customer supply‑chain and manufacturing processes, problems, needs, and objectives, and propose system solutions to meet their requirements.
