Job summary

Vault Cloud is seeking a Network Engineering Lead to guide a team of network engineers in designing, building, and automating high-performance cloud networks for Vault’s sovereign cloud. This remote, offshore position is based in the Philippines or Indonesia and offers ownership of networking and cloud infrastructure fabric, enabling secure, cutting-edge cloud technologies for critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering leadership: background building, mentoring, and holding high-performing engineering squads accountable on complex projects.
• Extensive cloud experience: background in designing, architecting, and deploying hybrid or private cloud infrastructure.
• Core networking mastery: datacenter fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN, Cumulus Linux), ISP routing, and security appliances.
• Expert IaC automation: practical experience deploying robust network and firewall solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Strong systems thinking to translate business requirements across product, operations, and architecture teams using SDLC frameworks.
• Offshore requirement: Must be currently living and working in the Philippines or Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of network engineers.
• Govern technical designs, enforce standards through mandatory infrastructure peer-code reviews.
• Implement core cloud solutions and run fast paced PoC s for emerging tech.
• Optimize agile delivery: deconstruct initiatives into epics, provide estimations, and align sprints with release trains.
• Orchestrate squad resources: monitor deliverables against SLAs/SLOs and dynamically allocate talent across product frameworks.
