Job summary

FIS Global Solutions Philippines is seeking a Cloud Engineer Lead to design, deliver, and support secure cloud networking across Azure and AWS in a hybrid setup (three days in-office, two days remote).

You will mentor engineers, drive automation with Terraform, implement scalable networking templates, and collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure reliable, compliant cloud services.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting cloud networking in Azure and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing, switching, and security.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls or equivalent enterprise firewalls.
• Practical Terraform / IaC to automate cloud infrastructure.
• Proven troubleshooting across distributed cloud environments.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• Certifications in cloud, network, or security are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud network architectures across Azure and AWS.
• Build and support secure cloud connectivity solutions, including routing and firewall integrations.
• Manage and enhance network security controls using Palo Alto technologies.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform.
• Create scalable cloud networking standards, templates, and patterns.
• Partner with application, security, infra, and operations teams to deliver reliable services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and security issues.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and monitoring.
• Lead technical reviews and provide guidance on cloud networking strategy.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to team capability development.
