Job summary

FIS is seeking a Cloud Engineer Lead to design, deliver, and support secure, scalable cloud networking across Azure and AWS. You will drive connectivity, security, and automation while partnering with security, infra, and applications teams to ensure reliable services.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, automation outcomes, and engineering mentorship in a hybrid environment with three days in-office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven experience designing and supporting cloud networking in Azure and AWS.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls or equivalent enterprise firewalls.
• Practical use of Terraform or IaC to automate cloud infra.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of cloud network architectures across Azure and AWS.
• Build and support secure cloud connectivity, routing, and firewall integrations.
• Manage network security controls using Palo Alto technologies.
• Develop infrastructure as code solutions with Terraform and automation best practices.
• Create scalable cloud networking standards, templates, and deployment patterns.
• Partner with application, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable services.
• Troubleshoot complex network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
• Mentor engineers and guide cloud networking strategy and architecture.
