Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Assistant Merchant to support merchandising operations. You will work with merchants and cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day priorities, support key deliverables, and resolve issues before they become roadblocks in a fast-paced remote environment.

Ideal candidates are proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel, show strong analytical and organizational skills, and can multitask while delivering accurate work on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience in merchandising, retail, ecommerce, or similar fast-paced environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and learning agility.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the merchandising team, including calendars, meeting coordination, notes, and follow-ups.
• Develop and maintain internal communications and presentations for key updates and action items.
• Utilize merchandising systems and tools to complete daily tasks and proactively resolve issues.
• Collaborate with merchants and cross-functional support teams to ensure on-time, accurate deliverables.
• Take ownership of ad hoc and time-sensitive requests and prioritize accordingly.
