Job summary

Outsourced Global Staff is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support our bi-fold door hardware product development team. The role focuses on improving existing designs, creating new concepts, and producing accurate technical documentation using Autodesk tools.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of design engineering experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, strong 3D modeling and drawing skills, and a solid understanding of machining, die casting, and injection molding with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years professional design engineering experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong 3D modeling and technical drawing skills.
• Proven ability to create exportable, manufacturing-ready technical drawings and documentation.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, die casting, and injection molding.
• Ability to apply tolerance stack-ups and resolve fitment challenges.
• Ability to create detailed technical documentation.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
• Familiarity with product design lifecycle and design for manufacture (DFM).
• Understanding of material selection for hardware components.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach.
• Exposure to the fenestration industry (doors, windows, systems).
