Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quotations for rotable and non-rotable items.
• Manage vendor quotations and oversee contract management.
• Process job cards using ERP and link projects in the system.
• Create fabrication drawings for client approval using Inventor.
• Verify drawings against PO using AutoCAD or Navisworks.
• Develop project progress plans in MS Project.
• Lead project kick-off meetings with workshop staff.
• Produce nesting using CNCad and Autonest.
• Generate project reports and final documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review quotations for rotable and non-rotable items.
• Manage vendor quotations and oversee contract management.
• Process job cards using ERP software and link projects within the system.
• Review job details and requirements in alignment with purchase orders.
• Create fabrication drawings for client approval using Autodesk Inventor.
• Verify supplied drawings against purchase orders using AutoCAD, Adobe Reader, or Navisworks Manage.
• Develop project progress plans in Microsoft Project and update as needed.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings with workshop personnel.
• Process drawings, prepare DFT/DXF files, and create nesting using CNCad and Autonest.
• Generate project reports and compile final project documentation.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, fabrication, or project engineering.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, Microsoft Project, and other relevant tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and project management principles.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
