Job summary

Outsourced Quality Assured Services Pty in the Philippines is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support our bi-fold door hardware product development team. You will contribute to improving existing designs, creating new concepts, and producing accurate technical documentation using Autodesk tools.

The role focuses on precision components within fenestration, requiring attention to tolerance, fit, and mechanical integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years professional design engineering experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong 3D modeling and technical drawing skills.
• Ability to create exportable, manufacturing-ready drawings and documentation.
• Understanding of machining, die casting, injection molding.
• Ability to apply tolerance stack-ups and resolve fitment challenges.
• Familiarity with DFM and material selection.

Responsibilities

• Improve existing designs and create new concepts for bi-fold door hardware.
• Produce accurate technical documentation using Autodesk tools.
• Support fenestration product development with precise tolerances and fitment.
• Contribute to design for manufacture and manufacturing processes.
• Communicate effectively in English and maintain detailed records.
