Job summary
Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is hiring a Design Engineer to join the design team. The role focuses on sheet metal design and fabrication, translating concepts into detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for production.
The position offers a Work From Home arrangement and a collaborative, hands-on environment in the Philippines. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience, strong CAD skills (Onshape, SolidWorks, Inventor or CATIA), and a solid understanding of DFM/DFA principles.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in design engineering.
- Proven experience in sheet metal design and fabrication.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and materials.
- Ability to produce accurate 2D drawings to Australian drafting standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise designs for manufacturability.
- Translate concepts into detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Ensure signage systems are structurally sound and efficiently built.
- Collaborate with design team in a hands-on environment.
