Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Marketing Growth Analytics & Operations Intern to bridge marketing, data, and engineering. You will write SQL queries, track key metrics like DAU, LTV, and CAC, design A/B tests, and own dashboards.

You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to translate marketing needs into actionable requirements and automate recurring analyses with AI. You’ll collaborate across channels, automate reporting, and drive improvements in consumer programs while gaining exposure to product

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS.
• More interested in the business and product side than in engineering for its own sake.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• You’re adept with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar).
• Comfort working in agile, matrixed teams with quick turnarounds.
• A strong bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Write your own SQL to pull campaign, cohort, and subscription performance.
• Track the metrics that drive the business: DAU, NTM, LTV, CAC.
• Compare performance across time periods and segments, and flag shifts that matter.
• Take ownership of dashboards and use AI to extract answers.
• Design and measure experiments across channels: audience splits, variants, success metrics.
• Write post-test analyses: what worked, what didn’t, what to do next time.
• Own surveys from request to results: define audience, launch, monitor, report learnings.
• Turn marketing needs into specs for engineers and QA new features.
• Spot underused channels and propose marketing leverage.
• Automate recurring reports and processes using AI.
