Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Marketing & Mobile Engineering organization. You will build features across our marketing technology stack and mobile surfaces, powering lifecycle messaging, attribution, content delivery, and in‑app experiences for millions of users.

You will collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality products, participate in design discussions, and mentor others while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate

Qualifications

• Must have experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
• Demonstrated experience using Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Frontend development experience with React preferred.
• Ability to solve problems with backend languages like Go or similar compiled statically typed language.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across marketing tech platform and mobile apps.
• Develop integrations with marketing and analytics platforms.
• Contribute to backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for campaigns and messaging.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Analytics to translate requirements into engineering solutions.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions; mentor junior engineers.
