Job summary

WRS Health, a leading cloud-based EMR and practice management provider, seeks a Linux/AWS Systems Administrator to join a remote team. You will manage Debian-based systems, design AWS infrastructure, and automate operations to ensure high availability and security.

Responsibilities include scripting (Bash/Python), CI/CD support, and maintaining monitoring/logging with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch. Remote with EST-like business hours; collaborate across engineering to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Linux system administration experience.
• Proven experience managing Debian Linux distributions in production.
• Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Hands-on automation with tools like Ansible, Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Scripting能力 in Bash or Python; comfortable with networking basics.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with containerization (EKS, Docker, ECS, Fargate) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain Debian-based Linux systems in production environments.
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
• Implement and maintain automation using Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Write and maintain scripts to automate routine operations and improve reliability.
• Ensure performance, availability and security, addressing incidents promptly.
• Configure and manage monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows with engineering teams.
• Maintain documentation and version control using Git.
