Job summary

CoverGo, an insurtech market leader, seeks a licensed Philippines-based lawyer with at least 2 years of experience to draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and support HR and corporate matters. The role will partner with internal teams and external counsel to ensure legal compliance and efficient operations in a fully remote setting.

You will handle NDA reviews, IP coordination, and data privacy matters, while contributing to policy improvements and RFP responses.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years as a Legal Practitioner or similar role.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction is a plus (Philippines bar).
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and editing contracts.
• Experience with commercial contracts and corporate housekeeping is advantageous.
• Strong English communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, service, and vendor agreements; advise on risks.
• Advise HR on employment terms, contractor engagements, and offboarding; draft related agreements.
• Handle corporate housekeeping and maintain organized records of legal documents.
