JustMarkets in the Philippines seeks an experienced Lead Engineering Manager to lead and scale engineering teams for a high-performance trading platform. You will drive reliability, performance, and scalability across a hybrid infrastructure, partnering with Product, Trading, and senior leadership to translate business needs into technical outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering.
• 3+ years in Engineering Manager role, managing Managers.
• Background in financial systems, trading platforms or high-reliability domains.
• Strong backend focus with Ruby experience.
• Experience operating systems on AWS and on-premise hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with observability tools and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple engineering teams (40–60+ engineers).
• Own delivery, quality, and technical outcomes across your engineering area.
• Partner with Product, Trading, and Senior Engineering leadership to translate requirements into technical execution.
• Drive engineering strategy and cross-team alignment across the area.
• Coordinate architectural decisions and their implementation across teams.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and observability of production systems.
• Own the area roadmap and resource allocation across teams.
• Identify and address systemic technical and organizational risks and ensure long-term scalability and health.
• Hire, onboard, mentor, and grow Engineering Managers and teams.
• Foster a culture of ownership, customer first, and result-orientation.
