Stealth-Mode Marketplace Startup is seeking a Lead AI & Data Platform Engineer to own our AI, data platform, and growth automation infrastructure. You will design, build, deploy, and measure production systems across data engineering, event tracking, AI automation, LLM integrations, and marketing data activation.

You will transform raw marketplace activity into clean, actionable intelligence powering product decisions, buyer personalization, seller growth, and automated campaigns.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software/data engineering or AI/data platform experience.
• Hands-on in building production data pipelines and analytics infrastructure.
• Experience integrating AI APIs/LLMs into production systems.
• Strong Python and SQL with scalable data modeling and data quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Own AI, data platform, and growth automation infrastructure end-to-end.
• Design, build, deploy, measure, and improve production systems across data engineering, event tracking, AI automation, and lifecycle automation.
• Turn raw marketplace activity into structured, actionable intelligence for product decisions, personalization, and campaigns.
• Define data schemas, tracking, identity resolution, and cross‑device behavior mapping.
• Work across architecture and implementation, choosing in-house vs. open-source vs. third-party tools.
