Qualifications

• Previous IT service desk or help desk experience preferred.
• Technical diploma, degree or IT certification is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for IT assistance via phone and tickets.
• Acknowledge, document, triage, and resolve service requests promptly.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Support desktop hardware/software, VPN, Citrix, and connectivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop software and peripherals.
• Assist remote users via phone and remote tools.
• Monitor queues and distribute work equitably among techs.
• Escalate issues based on severity, priority, SLA, or direction.
• Maintain user accounts and access permissions (Active Directory).
• Stay updated on networking concepts related to desktop connectivity.
• Adhere to company policies and internal controls.
