Job summary

Engaged Staffer Inc. is seeking proactive Resource Planners to grow a nationwide interpreters network across the UK, focusing on candidate sourcing, outreach, relationship building, and recruitment.

You'll engage interpreters via databases, social media, community networks, referrals, direct outreach, and headhunting; some roles focus on Telephone and Video Interpreters working remotely. Strong English required and remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, candidate sourcing, sales, business development, community engagement, or another people-focused role.
• Strong experience with proactive outreach, networking, prospecting, or headhunting.
• Confidence communicating with people by telephone, email, and online platforms.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• A clear, professional, and neutral telephone communication style.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust quickly.
• Experience using social media or online platforms for sourcing, outreach, recruitment, or networking.
• Ability to manage multiple candidates, pipelines, and recruitment activities at the same time.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source and engage qualified interpreters through recruitment databases, social media, professional networks, referrals, community groups, and direct outreach.
• Headhunt suitable candidates and build strong talent pipelines for current and future recruitment needs.
• Identify and reach out to interpreters within underserved and high-demand language communities.
• Build relationships with community organisations, cultural groups, universities, language societies, religious organisations, refugee and migrant support groups, and other relevant networks.
• Conduct regular telephone and written outreach to potential candidates and community contacts.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to reach hard-to-find interpreter talent.
• Generate referrals through relationship building and ongoing community engagement.
• Screen and assess candidates for suitability.
• Guide candidates through the recruitment, application, and onboarding process.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information.
• Ensure applicants meet required company and compliance standards.
• Support recruitment campaigns and coordinate recruitment materials where required.
• For the dedicated Telephone and Video Interpreter position, manage remote interpreter sourcing, applications, onboarding, and pipeline development nationwide.
