Job summary
BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in InfluxDB to design, deploy and optimize time-series databases for high-velocity IoT telemetry and infrastructure monitoring. You will enable real-time insights with fast data ingestion, powerful queries, and scalable storage across a 100% remote-friendly environment.
You will build and refine Flux queries, configure Telegraf collectors, and develop dashboards that visualize system health.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in Software/Data/DB engineering or related.
- Proficient in InfluxDB for time-series data.
- Experience writing Flux queries and Telegraf data collection.
- Experience building real-time monitoring dashboards for IoT.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage production-grade InfluxDB instances for high-velocity workloads.
- Develop and optimize Flux queries for real-time analytics and monitoring.
- Configure Telegraf agents to collect metrics, events, and sensor data.
- Build and maintain interactive real-time dashboards to visualize system health and IoT telemetry.
- Optimize database performance, retention, and storage as data grows.
- Collaborate with engineering to integrate time-series data into observability and alerting.
