Qualifications

• 4+ years in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
• Expert in dbt and SQL for transformation pipelines.
• Experience with cloud DW like Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift.
• Strong data modeling with star/snowflake schemas.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data transformation workflows using dbt to process large-scale datasets.
• Develop and optimize modular data models using star and snowflake schemas to support complex analytical requirements.
• Write and tune advanced SQL queries to ensure efficient data processing and leverage cloud data warehouse capabilities.
• Apply software engineering best practices to the analytics workflow, including version control and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality standards and implement automated tests within the transformation layer.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance to ensure data reliability, freshness, and scalability across the organization.
