Job summary

Goway Travel in Manila is seeking a Flight Specialist to join our Flights team. You will assist passengers with bookings, manage reservations, and ensure seamless travel experiences while maintaining accuracy in fare and routing information.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in flights customer service, strong English communication, and hands-on experience with GDS and ticketing systems, plus excellent time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in Flights customer service or similar function
• Excellent verbal & written English communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of airfares and routing
• Intensive experience with GDS
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in efficient time management and adept task prioritization

Responsibilities

• Ticket Sales and Reservations: Assist passengers with booking flights, selecting seats, and managing their travel itineraries. Process ticket purchases, payments, and refunds. Manage reservation changes, cancellations, and upgrades.
• Queue Management: Manage and prioritize customer requests within a queue system. Respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure all customer requests are addressed and resolved promptly.
• Customer Service: Provide personalized and efficient customer service, resolving inquiries and addressing passenger concerns. Handle customer complaints and escalated issues as needed. Ensure a positive and memorable travel experience for all passengers.
• Fare and Routing Knowledge: Stay updated on fare structures, special offers, and routing options. Provide accurate and comprehensive information to passengers regarding flight options and pricing.
• System Proficiency: Be proficient in using reservation systems, ticketing software, and other relevant tools. Maintain accurate records of passenger information and travel details.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and other departments. Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure a smooth and efficient passenger experience.
