Job summary

Imagenet is seeking an Accounting Officer to maintain precise financial records, process transactions, and ensure statutory compliance in the Philippines. The role collaborates with internal teams, auditors, and regulators to support monthly and yearly financial reporting.

Responsibilities cover general accounting, AP/AR, tax filings, payroll validation, and internal controls. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree, 2–3 years' experience, and familiarity with Philippine tax rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting-related field.
• Experience in Philippine taxation, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Experience using accounting software such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Xero or similar ERP systems is preferred.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate accounting entries in the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Monitor and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensure proper withholding taxes are applied to vendor payments.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices; monitor AR aging.
• Assist in tax filings: VAT, withholding taxes, and income taxes.
• Support payroll processing and statutory remittances.
