Job summary

Imagenet Phils., Inc. is seeking an Accounting Officer to maintain accurate financial records and support month-end and year-end reporting in Manila. You will work with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliant accounting operations.

The role emphasizes Philippine tax compliance, payroll validation, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of accounting experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Philippine tax

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience with Philippine taxation, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel with Pivot Tables and lookups.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks or Xero preferred.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain general ledger entries.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals and adjusting entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Review supplier invoices and coordinate payments.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and monitor collections.
• Prepare tax schedules including VAT and withholding taxes.
• Support payroll processing and remittances to SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG/BIR.
• Assist in monthly financial statements and account schedules.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.

About the role

The Accounting Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with Philippine tax and statutory requirements, and supporting month-end and year-end financial reporting. The role works closely with internal departments, external auditors, government agencies, and management to ensure timely and accurate accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate accounting entries in the general ledger
• Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
• Monitor and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Review supplier invoices and supporting documents, prepare payment vouchers and coordinate payment processing
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor collections and aging of receivables
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for tax filings including Expanded Withholding Tax, Compensation Withholding Tax, VAT Returns, and Income Tax Returns
• Support payroll processing and validation, coordinate statutory remittances for SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR withholding taxes
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and account schedules
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and prepare audit schedules

About you

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field
• Experience in Philippine taxation, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR tax regulations
• Strong knowledge of payroll accounting and bank reconciliation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic financial analysis
• Experience using accounting software such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar ERP systems is preferred
• CPA license is an advantage but not required
