BizForce is seeking an experienced Hospital Billing Representative to join our Patient Financial Services and Revenue Cycle team. You will manage insurance claim follow-up, resolve billing issues, and reduce outstanding A/R to support timely reimbursements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on hospital billing experience, knowledge of CPT/ICD-10, and strong denial management skills, with the ability to work US hours from a remote setting. This role offers growth within a thriving outsourcing company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hospital billing, hospital collections, or medical billing/collections.
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Experience with hospital billing systems and EHRs.
• Strong knowledge of payer requirements and denial resolution strategies.

Responsabilités

• Perform timely follow-up on outstanding claims to secure reimbursement.
• Contact payers to verify claim status and resolve payment issues.
• Review denied/underpaid claims and determine resolutions.
• Prepare and submit claim appeals with supporting documentation.
• Research payer guidelines to resolve billing issues.
• Review aging reports and prioritize accounts by balance and urgency.
• Identify and correct claim errors with billing and coding teams.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all account activity.
• Monitor accounts through resolution and follow-up.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and internal billing policies.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
• Perform other duties within the Patient Financial Services team.
