Job summary

Beepo seeks a Home & Furniture Product Designer for a remote, project-based engagement. You will design across lighting, furniture, homewares and lifestyle categories, taking concepts from sketches to production-ready designs.

You will produce 3D CAD models, technical drawings and specs, coordinating with merchandising and product teams to ensure feasibility and brand alignment. Strong English and manufacturing knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing consumer products end-to-end (concept through to production).
• Experience in homewares, lighting, furniture, or related consumer categories.
• Industrial / Product Design experience with production awareness.
• Advanced SolidWorks (or equivalent 3D CAD).
• Strong grasp of manufacturing processes, materials, tooling, and production methods.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Familiar with AI-assisted design workflows (Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude, Magnific or similar).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products across lighting, furniture, homewares and lifestyle categories.
• Take products from initial sketches through to production-ready designs.
• Produce 3D CAD models, technical drawings, renders and product specifications.
• Collaborate with merchandising and product teams to ensure viability and manufacturability.
• Develop materials, finishes, colour palettes and detailing per brand direction.
• Refine concepts based on stakeholder feedback, testing and manufacturing requirements.
• Research design trends, consumer insights, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
• Run multiple product-development projects and keep documentation organized.
• Present concepts and recommendations in design reviews.
