Qualifications

• Entry-level commercial office furniture designer.
• Able to meet a 48-hour project turnaround target.
• Proficient with 2D furniture plans and 3D renderings using AutoCAD and CET.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales team and clients to understand project scope, budget, and furniture/equipment to be installed.
• Develop accurate 2D furniture plans and 3D renderings using AutoCAD and CET; advise on space planning, color schemes, accessibility requirements, and ADA codes.
• Select office-furniture products that align with client requirements (functional, aesthetic, budget).
• Coordinate design intent with architectural and electrical plans.
• Maintain organized project files and keep the design-queue worksheet current as new requests come in.
• Complete design projects within the 48-hour turnaround window, subject to project complexity and complete source information.
• Review drawings and renderings for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Communicate with sales team and clients to resolve missing information and keep projects moving.
